Well what a gloomy day it has been today. Not much going on but there is some pretty good football on the tube, and I love how good the games look on my HDTV. Regular TV just isn't comparable, and if more people knew how good the daily viewing of HDTV is, they'd all go out and get new TV's. I promise.
So I got a new movie this weekend which anyone that knows me will be uber jealous over... I got Masters Of The Universe! Oh yeah baby, the He-Man movie from the 80's is now apart of my ever-growing DVD collection. Let me tell you something about this movie, it has absolutely incredible special effects for being an 80's movie. Sure, it's nothing compared to today's standards, but still quite impressive. I forgot all of the cool characters that were in the movie, like Evil-Lyn. In remembering this movie that I haven't seen since the 80's, I totally forgot about her and really what the movie was about. And my gosh, Dolph Lundgren is probably the worst actor ever which is why he had fewer speaking parts than I remember or assumed he would have. Funny and great movie!
Another movie I got is a movie with Zach Braff called The Last Kiss. It's a pretty decent movie with a bunch of hot chicks. The characters are real and I like how they were developed in the movie. It's definitely worth checking out.
All of the great TV shows are starting to come back on after their hiatus, and I really liked the most recent episode of The Office. That is such a funny show! I'm really ready for Jim and Pam to hook up, but I understand why the writers don't let that happen. That tension is pretty much what drives the back-story of the show so to actually hook those two up will kill a major part of why we watch! And I actually like Karen, but I don't really see those two lasting as a couple for long. And after Pam's break-down, I foresee Pam not being so nice to Karen. But we'll see! Such a great show, though.
The countdown is on for 24, Lost, Jericho and Grey's Anatomy. Amidst all the stupid Reality TV on these days, I'm glad there are good shows like the ones I just mentioned to even things out. I am just so sick of reality TV.
Other than that, not much going on in my life. I'm ready for this week and ready to get some work done. We've got some enormous projects coming up at work and it's going to keep me so busy, so if I fall off the map here, just slap me and remind me that I need to post. Peace out!
