I Can't Escape It!

Snow! I can't get away from this retched snow! It follows me wherever I go. I'm in Louisville, KY right now and it's done nothing but snow since I've been here. Grr!! I hate snow! If you want it to snow where you live, hire me to come to your city and it will miraculously snow there. Dammit!

So, I don't know if you people are fans of Norah Jones, but I am. Well, she released her third album this week called "Not Too Late" and it totally rocks. I love pretty much everything about Norah and this album is a great third project for her. I enjoy it immensely. Click here to buy the album from the iTunes Music Store. You won't regret buying it.

So, like I said, I am in Louisville, KY for a server consolidation. I'm leaving tomorrow, but hope the roads aren't too bad for the drive home. I'm taking the remainder of the week off because my awesomely cool cousin Daniel is loaning me his furniture, so I'm coming to Chattanooga to pick that up. I am so excited. If you haven't been to my apartment, at this point I have a recliner, a love seat and a futon (which I sleep on). Not ideal, especially for when I have company. Daniel currently pays to have this stuff kept in storage, so he saves by not having to pay storage. Everyone's a winner!

He's got a full-size couch, a love seat and a bed. I haven't had a real bed in several years, just a futon (which I love), but I actually look forward to having that. Also, I will finally utilize the bedroom in my apartment. I know it's weird, but I actually sleep on my futon in my living room. But it's kind of nice because I can fall asleep to the TV. I have to have some kind of noise or music to fall asleep to. Otherwise I stay up thinking about CRAP and can't sleep. Very weird stuff. It's very crappy when I'm in a hotel and can't fall asleep to the TV. I sleep terribly.

Man, it's so cold! I have the heat in my hotel room set to 78 degrees right now! I am just cold to the core for some reason. I don't know if it's because this place has bad insulation or what?

Do you guys watch or listen to Glenn Beck? He's the man! I love Glenn Beck. He talks about things a lot of people won't talk about and doesn't care what people say about him. Furthermore, he's hysterical! The man can keep me rolling for 3 straight hours. I just love him. I like him more than Rush or Hannity, which is saying a lot. You guys should check him out if you never have. He's got an hour-long show on CNN Headline News. Check it out if you get a chance. Also, he has a radio show 3 hours a day. If you done get Glenn in your area, you can listen on his website glennbeck.com.

What did you guys think about 24 this week? I didn't like the idea of Jack's dad causing a distraction to help them escape if he only turns around to still be a bad guy. Why wouldn't he just kill off Jack? That made absolutely NO sense! I'm glad that they killed off Jack's brother, though. Blue-tooth wearing weasel.

I have a public service announcement for you all: Never ship using UPS. I had a recent experience with UPS and will avoid giving them any type of business whatsoever. It all started last Thursday when I wanted to get a GPS receiver for my cell phone, since my phone doesn't have built-in GPS. So I use Telenav as my GPS solution and they sell external Blue-Tooth GPS receivers for my phone. So I ordered one and had it shipped 3-day so that I could have it for the current trip I'm on (I should have received it Monday).

It still hasn't been delivered to my house. Due to a "sorting error" it was delayed. So, I think it's supposed to be delivered tomorrow. Uhh, yeah, my trip is going to be over tomorrow. Thanks. So I emailed their technical support on Friday because I wanted them to expedite the order so I could get it by the time I went on my trip. They wouldn't have any of it. They told me they couldn't alter the shipping method once it was in-transit. BULL FREAKING CRAP! Brett, who works for UPS said that they certainly can upgrade a package to over-night air once it's in-transit. Whatever, just give me my freaking $15 back! Nope, I have to get it from the company I ordered the product from. BULL CRAP! It wasn't their freaking fault!

UPS did nothing but give me a giant run-around and was completely unwilling to fix the problem that they caused. The reason you upgrade your shipping methods is because packages are time-sensitive. Well, uhh, when you can't guarantee that method and are unwilling to fix your mistakes, that reflects a bad company and terrible customer service. So, like I said, I will completely avoid using UPS in the future and plan on writing them a detailed letter explaining the displeasure of my experience and my goal to deter any of my friends and clients from ever using them again. All they had to do was be willing to fix the problem they created and I would be completely satisfied, because I understand the fact that mistakes happen. When you're unwilling to rectify your mistakes, I have a real fundamental problem with you. See ya!

Anywho, I'm done ranting and am pretty tired. Plus, I've got to watch Heroes since I missed it yesterday! Peace out homies!
