Did everyone watch Heroes this week? My goodness! This is the best show on TV. Before, you would hear me say that 24 is the best show on TV, but sorry folks, Heroes has the title. 24 has been extremely unimpressive this season, while Heroes continues to get better and better. I wasn't able to Watch Heroes until tonight and I am just amazed at all they stuff they throw at you. And Peter, man! He's the pimp, man! Hopefully he doesn't start becoming all crazy like Sylar!
Who else thinks that Mohinder looks like an Indian version of Orlando Bloom? Everytime I see that dude, I think of The Lord Of The Rings. It's crazy!
So I have been battling a cold for the past week. Well actually, I started feeling sick last Wednesday. Thursday I got worse so I had my doctor call in some Tamiflu. I started taking that and by Sunday, I felt like I had pretty successfully staved off the flu. But ever since then, I've had a cold that I can't shake! I've been taking all sorts of cold medicines since then and it just wont disappear. I've never had a cold like this and for this long -- it's driving me crazy! What do you guys do to get rid of colds? I'm open to anything at this point.
I'm in Greenville, SC right now and will be here until next Wednesday. It's been a pretty successful trip so far, as far as work goes. However, not a lot is going on other than that. It's quite boring. This is the second time I've been to Greenville and there just isn't much going on. I'd like to tell you fabulous stories about wonderful things going on, but I just can't.
I'd like to tell you that I was in the mall and a gorgeous women was on the escalator and accidentally put her hand on mine while we were going down. And after realizing what she was doing, she didn't move. But that didn't happen.
Or how cool would it be if I had some fabulous story about checking out this girl in the food court while she stood in line at Chik-fil-a in her tight jeans, white tank top and brown hair in a pony tail. Only for her to turn around and show herself to be freaking twelve!!! Yeah, real cool.
But no, nothing crazy like that. I did actually play some basketball tonight. I went to some rec center with a guy I've been working with and we shot a bit. He beat me. But to my defense, he only beat me 11-6, and he's a 6'5" tall black guy. And he's pretty good. I haven't shot real ball in like, 3 years! We didn't play hard though. I'm way too out of shape for that mess.
That's something I'm going to start working on -- working out.
Okay, the Batman movie is on right now that has Danny Davito as The Penguin. What a terrible movie. The only two good Batman movies ever were the original Batman with Michael Keaton, and Batman Begins with Christian Bale. All of the other ones sucked my toes.
Speaking of Christian Bale, I watched The Prestige last night -- GREAT MOVIE! Not nearly as good as The Illusionist, in my opinion, but still very good. I like those magic movies. Hollywood should make more of them.
