Officially Pissed

I will no longer watch CBS. Never again. After today, they literally offer no television viewing entertainment. What the hell is wrong with CBS? How on Al Gore's Green Earth can they cancel Jericho??!!?!??! But they keep all the 18 different CSI shows, AMAZING RACE(????), Cold Case, 60 Minutes, The New Adventures of Old Christine, Two and a Half Men, Rules of Engagement, Criminal Minds, Shark, Without A Trace, Ghost Whisperer(???????????????), Numb3rs and 48 Hours Mystery? ARE YOU SERIOUS??? I'm almost as up in arms as I was about NBC canceling The Black Donnelly's, which is arguably the best show I've seen since season 2 of 24.

You know, how am I supposed to get into TV Drama when they kill the best shows after one season, or in the case of The Black Donnelly's, they don't even finish the season out on air, but play the remaining episodes ONLINE! WHAT THE CRAP?

They had better get their shit in gear, or these networks are going to piss off enough people that they'll stop watching all together. I am officially boycotting CBS, not only because they have no content, but because the only good show they had, they threw away. I'd do the same to NBC for canceling The Black Donnelly's, but I mean, come on, I can't stop watching Heroes. It's unbelievable.

But they leave those stupid dumbass ignorant reality TV shows on and these mindless idiots think it's what people want to watch. Unbelievable. Just simply unbelievable.

that bad thing is that people DO watch the stupid reality shows.

I won't shed a single tear when every single one of the reality shows bite the dust. Let the people go out and buy the stupid seasons on DVD if they wanna see people running through the wilderness.

I didn't really watch the Black Donnelly's, nor Jericho - it's much too difficult for me to try and catch up on every show that MIGHT be of interest to me.

I record Heroes (of course!), House, Law and Order, and that's about it.

I usually stay up when I get home and watch Heroes and House.

I'm gonna miss Heroes when this seasons finale airs on Monday.

But have you heard? They've got a spin-off hitting the waves that is supposedly going to fill the gap between season 1 and 2 - called Heroes: Origins or something, and it's gonna be a completely different cast of characters.

The cool part is that they're going to have a vote to see which character is the favorite of all the viewers and they'll keep that character around for season 2.

They've definitely gone above and beyond to interact with the viewers of that show - with the Primatech Paper Co. and all the other interactive things they have. Someone is a marketing genius. Plus the show just kicks planets.

I didn't know that were going to turn Heroes into a reality TV show (hehe), but I did hear about the spin-off. That's cool! And, I think it's a fantastic idea. You're right, that product has HUGE potential as a money-maker. I mean, look at the biggest movies, for example. Spider Man, X-Men, Star Wars, etc... Super Heroes are the biggest movie genre, and network TV is only now getting on board? It won't be long before the rest of the networks get on the Heroes bandwagon... But I love Heroes... It's taken a front seat for me, over 24 this year. I love Jack Bauer, but this season of 24 has sucked.

Lol, the VIEWERS are gonna vote on the Heroes character - not the characters voting for the characters.

I think I read somewhere that the producer of 24 said that the next season is going to be nothing like this past one - apparently they've realized that its less than satisfactory.

Heroes is the only reason I even have local channels through satellite - so I can DVR it.
